A little about the people who make this here comic!

JP, once known as “The Millennium Titans” or “MT,” started probably at some point in late 2003, early 2004, though the official date is officially lost so there’s no real way of knowing. What was once a semi cringe-worthy Teen Titans RP metamorphosed into an independent universe as the four remaining members did a lot of thinking about how to turn this into something they could write a little more seriously, free of silly little technicalities like copyright infringement. I mean really.

It took a lot of hard work (and lots of slavedriving from your friendly neighborhood god-queen of this alternate universe, Ally), but by 2010, The Jupiter Palladium was officially born. Kelsey, an animation student at SCAD, had long since wanted to see our stories translate into the visual medium, and has been graciously drawing JP for us. And we are so proud. So damn proud.

Kelsey

Kelsey is a returning student to the Savannah College of Art and Design this year majoring in animation (LIKE A LOT OF PEOPLE).  She’s (OBVIOUSLY) the artist of this comic (I MEAN REALLY).  She claims Jupiter Palladium to be a major creative driving force in her brain and has been the subject of many the doodle for the past few years up until she finally got to business and made it into this webcomic, since otherwise no one would ever understand (except for the following three loons, which to be honest was just enough for her.)

Kelsey has wanted to start a webcomic for quite a while, and with all the information pouring out of JP as of late she figure it was about time she got started.  She is prepared for a very, very long ride.  And is extremely excited about this.

Her hobbies include long walks on the beach and stargazing.

Kelsey is a miracle changer and can therefore do whatever she wants and then make money out of it.  LIKE MAKING THIS WEBCOMIC.

Feel free to drop her a note at ksnorden@gmail.com if you have any questions about the comic, etc, etc!

Ally

Ally is a recent graduate of Northwestern University, majoring in Theatre and minoring in Italian, and one of the writers of JP. Somewhere down the line in this long, seven-year writing process, she became the “Warrior God-Queen” of the group. This pretty much means that she sat down one day with an Idea in her head, which ended up being the entire system that makes the JP universe—if it’s background information, chances are she was the one to write it. She is at once proud and terrified of her intellectual authority, and even more terrified that her joking comment: “Quiet, Ally has something to say,” has actually turned into a legitimate point.

Seven years after first creating Angel, Ally is really excited to see JP turn into a webcomic. This also means that all you nice readers will get to fear the Warrior God-Queen as much as Kelsey, Nat, and Kate do.

No seriously, all jokes aside, Ally’s just a nice person. When she isn’t performing in some way or writing all of the background information that makes up JP, she enjoys playing video games, cosplaying, playing capoeira, and, oh yeah, working a side-career to sustain her dream job. She’s a notorious perfectionist and guilty of frequent snarking.

Ally is a Plahnningk Mental and therefore has many, many Ideas. The other girls think it’s great, because hey! Look! Ally’s going to take care of a lot of the content! At the same time, they have to brace themselves for a sudden retcon when Ally decides that such-and-such was stupid and needs to be improved.

Because I said so.

Kate

Kate is a graduate who is currently avoiding entering anything resembling the Real World (volunteering, anyone?) She studied Psychology (no, she doesn’t know what you’re thinking) and will, eventually, work in mental health (somewhere. Somehow. Doing …something.) She is one of the brains behind the plot of the JP, and has nurtured Syren from being an awful Mary-Sue to becoming an actual character in her own right. She has a lot of affection for the JP, and is often attacked by plot bunnies of varying quality.

Kate is a Butterfly Fighter, meaning that she flits from one idea to another, like a butterfly gathering nectar. Not all of those ideas are good. But that’s fine, she has the rest of the gallies to either praise her brilliance or let her down gently (or, in some particularly awful cases, bluntly).

Despite being one of the elder creators, Kate is Only Little, and is not afraid to use puppy eyes to get what she wants. Which, admittedly, is mostly cardigans, dresses and books. She is an awful feminist, and would love to be a librarian.

Nat

Nat is a recent graduate (where by recent we mean she graduated a year ago, what the hell is she doing with her life seriously) of Martin Luther King High School, and one of the writers of the JP. She’s somewhat the black sheep of the group, as she finds it very difficult to participate in group projects and hates deadlines with a mighty passion, but she loves the JP so much she tries her hardest to participate anyway.

Nat was actually the person who first came up with the idea that would become the Jupiter Palladium, but she is all too happy to let Ally take the reins of the operation, as Nat has never been a very good leader and if she was still in charge we’d probably still be dealing with hanyous. Or there would be no JP at all, which is the more likely case.

As a Sleepiness Elemental, Nat is almost always tired, and if she’s not online, chances are she’s sleeping. When she is online, she probably wishes she were sleeping. This can get very annoying, very fast, but the other girls have learned to work around Nat’s strange sleeping patterns, and somehow, shit gets done anyway.
